Peter Pennacchietti
It has been Peter’s privilege to serve on your Board of Directors for the last five years. The role and challenges of a credit union Director has changed.
Today’s financial environment requires unique skills and experience, including a thorough knowledge and understanding of credit union operations, financial markets and economics.
Peter graduated from a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Canadian Credit Institute. He is a Business College graduate and was a financial planner for many years.
He spent 30 years working in credit unions, 11 years as an investment advisor/stock broker and has 12 years of governance experience on large institutional boards. Peter has also graduated from the Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) program. This experience has prepared him well to serve the members of FirstOntario Credit Union.
Peter is a Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) program graduate and has served on FirstOntario’s Audit & Risk and Elections Committees and has also served as Chair of FirstOntario’s Strategic Oversight Committee.
