​Pay a Bill

 

To make your life easier – there’s more than one way you can pay a bill

We’re happy to take care of that for you at one of our branches or through our Personal Assisted Teller (PAT) machines, but keep in mind you can pay a bill online or mobile anytime.

When you bank online or through our mobile app, you can add and manage your bill payees and pay them right then and there. You can also set up future payments so you can rest assured they won't be missed. 

 

On your smartphone

Paying a bill on the go is simple. Just download our app from the App Store or Google Play and follow these instructions.

 
  1. Log in to the FirstOntario mobile app
  2. Tap Pay Bills
  3. Select your account and payee
  4. Choose amount and payment date
  5. Tap Pay This Bill 
  1. Log in to the FirstOntario mobile app
  2. Tap Pay Bills
  3. Tap Manage Payees
  4. Tap Add Payee
  5. Choose payee to search, tap Done
  6. Choose correct payee and add in your account number
  7. Add Payee then Confirm
  1. Log in to the FirstOntario mobile app
  2. Tap Pay Bills
  3. Tap Manage Payees
  4. Choose Delete Payee
  5. Choose the payee you want to delete
  6. Tap Delete
 

On your computer

Managing your account on your home computer is as easy as logging in and following these steps.

 
  1. Log in to online banking
  2. Select Payments then choose Pay Bills
  3. Select the account you would like to pay from
  4. Choose the bill payee, add in payment date and amount
  5. Click Pay bills

Good to know

Click on the Schedule Recurring Payment tab to automate your payments.

  1. Log in to online banking
  2. Click Payments
  3. Choose Add/Delete Payees
  4. Add Payee- enter payee name and search
  5. Choose your payee from the list and key in your account number
  6. Click Submit
  1. Log in to online banking
  2. Click Payments
  3. Choose Add/Delete Payees
  4. Choose the payee- click Delete
  5. Click Confirm
 

In a branch

Visit your nearest location where you can make a bill payment in branch or at a PAT machine.
